Sookie (#1036) is a sweet
6.5 year old fawn female pug. Sadly, Sookie came to KPR
after her owners were done breeding her. Luckily, KPR
can see the value of sweet Sookie beyond the income she
generated from puppy reproduction. Sookie does have some
existing medical conditions that she is living with,
including blindness in one eye, two grade four luxating
patellas, congestive heart failure, a moderately
collapsed trachea, and a thyroid condition. She is also
overcoming demodex. Sookie gets three medications twice
daily to deal with her conditions. Even with her medical
issues, her foster home says she is the happiest, most
energetic pug you can imagine. None of these things seem
to even bother her as she is always on the move! Please
consider giving Sookie a fresh start to a better life.
