Hi, I'm Petey (#
879). The vet estimates me to be around 7 to 8
years of age, but I'm young at heart! The funny thing
about me is that I am blind, but most people wouldn't
know that upon meeting me. I get along great at my
foster parents' house. I know where everything is and I
rarely run into anything. My sight gets the best of me
when there are loud noises that surprise me and stairs
(my foster parents are helping me with this). I get
along pretty good with my foster brothers and sisters.
Would you believe that I try and rule the roost even
though I can't see? Well, it's true I do! I haven't been
around cats or kids in a while, so we're not sure how
I'd do with them. My foster mommy seems to think I'd be
just fine. I am a cuddler, and love to lick people. I
get eye drops twice daily for my dry eye (the cause of
my blindness), and the drops are helping my eyes to
produce tears again. Now that I am getting the drops, I
can actually close my eyes all the way and they feel so
much better. I am house trained, but if you don't let me
out when I need to go out...well you know what that
means. I can eat dry dog food, in fact I really like it!
I sleep really well at night too. Won't you consider
adopting me so that I can cuddle with you at night?
