Leopold (#1088) is an 18 pound, one year old Bug (Boston Terrier/Pug) that was brought in as a stray to a Northern, IN animal shelter. Since Leopold came to KPR as a stray, we don’t know much about his past. But, after being placed in KPR foster care, it's apparent he's a  very smart little dog. A real pug's bug, Leopold looks and sounds  every bit a pug, except for his brindle coat.

Leopold is playful, fun, gentle, sweet and extremely loyal. He is a guy's dog -- small boys, teenagers, and guys -- Leopold loves them all and just wants to stick around and be one of the guys. He's great with women too, but he really is a guy's dog. Leopold is housebroken, but  because he was not neutered until he came to foster care, it appears  that me might occasionally mark, so he's had to wear a belly band in his  foster home.

Leopold plays well with other dogs, but isn't always a fan of  alpha male authority -- he stands in the face of the alpha dog and barks  -- so he might do better in a home where he is the only dog, or paired with a female. Leopold loves to “sing”, especially when he’s playing.

Leopold is a fantastic little dog who would love to have a boy in his life to call him own. Can you help?
